Get the whole family involved as you make a Day of the Dead altar with help from expert ofrenda-makers. Listen to live norteño music by Gissel y los Condes in our sculpture garden. Visit altars by local artists and watch three films that reveal the roots of Day of the Dead. FREE

5th Annual Celebration - 11.1.08 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Join the masked procession through downtown Palm Springs. Procession begins at 11 a.m. at Latino Books y Mãs. (180 Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs). Make art with the whole family, visit traditional and contemporary altar installations and listen to the music Mariachi Azteca de Oro. Watch three films that reveal the root of Day of the Dead. FREE
